...claim

was in for a service this morning, all went well. Had the recall done on the seat springs. You can see the paint has flaked off the door handles, they know the fault but they wouldnt even enter into a claim without either removing the handles and sending to vauxhall OR I have to revisit in 2 weeks time when the Monaro lead technician from Vauxuall visits them.

I mean what the f-cuk is going on. They know the fault they wouldnt even acknowledge my fault despite it there right in their faces - it was as if there was some forcefield around it that meant they couldnt see the paint that had flaked away.

Can someone please enlighten me as to how to get their arse into gear on it?

Good luck!
I'm going to book mine in soon as the passenger door handle is flaking and I've got suspension noises. Local dealer has been ok so far so hopefully it'll be fine. Last time pointing out that it was a known issue (water ingress in that case) and others had claimed against the warranty with success.

I would strongly recommend Picador, they have looked after my warranty issues without any probs.

That is one of the reasons I always use the same dealer. They took one look at my door handle and then promptly ordered a new one to be fitted, no problem at all.

Another credit to the "Greens Team"!

I had this and Roger diagnosed this as both of the front bushes being made out of chewing gum and had broken. VX would have replaced them with more chewing gum but I decided to get some decent ones instead.

Improves turn in no end!

Take it to Greens if you can - Just had a handful of niggly warranty bits done without a fuss and Kev just phoned to say the handles are in stock and being sent off to be painted - Service is superb!!!! Give the coutesy car a clean though chaps!!! Mrs Biglump was not impressed!

cheers guys

Picador I was going to use for the service but I didnt realise that I had this dealer so close (service was great btw) but the service woman wouldnt even come look at the handle as "we cant do anything without vx seeing it themself"

I was a bit pissed at this as the car was there, they know its a problem but they wont open their eyes and act without someone else wiping their arse.

Yeah that was my thought too. I'd rather not fork out lots of dosh but taking a bit of the woolyness out of the steering does appeal. Which bushes did you have done and how much did it cost?

Where was the water ingress, nice to keep an eye on trouble spots.

They replaced the passenger side door seal.
