How many miles to a tank?

I'm not sure of my 2.5's MPG having not monitored it. I'm planning a long European high paced run. Any guidance on how many miles to a tank should I allow for my stop strategy..?

At about 100 I used to get (standard 3R trim) about 200 miles. At 120ish around 175 and 140 less than 150. All across Germany so reasonably constant speed.

Cruising at 80-90mph (if my GTO-3 was anything to go by) you should get 250-270 miles from a full tank.... a 2.5 might be slightly better?

At speed I'd say 250 for a tank full, if you are prepared to back off a tad 300 is not unobtainable.

If you want to extent the tank, Gary at crazy horses racing has an extension tank which fits behind the passenger seat.

Richard and I usually get about 20-25 minutes out a full tank during our high speed outings.....

I get about 22. The gauge says full for ages and then empties faster than a fast thing going quite fast.

About 2 tanks to the mile

40 litres lasts me 160 miles. thats brimmed to empto on the gauge. i will assume i have 20l left in the tank

Remember to pit-stop earlier rather than later - Noble advice is not to let the tank fall below 1/4 full.

230-240 is what I got out of my 2.5 at a steady 90 - left about 15 litres spare which is about as low as you want to go in normal conditions.

i am not sure where i am going wrong then, my figure seems woefully low compared to all the others, glad FC has the same otherwise i would be looking out for someone with a piece of tube and a jerry can!

Hmmm.... I seem to get about 120 - 130 if I fill up when its on 1/4 of a tank left...
