There's been 101 threads on remap work, with DMS and e-maps being fairly often recommended.

I'm looking for a remap for my 535d (and have been deliberating for some time), but am wanting to go down an 'authorised' route. My local stealer will supply, fit and guarantee the AC Schnitzer remap box and performance sports silencer (probably at a hugely inflated cost), and handles these as authorised BMW parts (with a BMW part number). Has anyone had this done? Are there any known problems with the ACS5 3.5d performance pack? Any reviews anywhere that people can recommend? And are the ACS parts really covered under the standard warranty (or was that just dealer BS)?

Cheers,

UV

As far as I know...all ACS kit is covered by BMW UK warranty. However, ACS engine upgrades are only covered in Germany, but this may have changed.

Ring BMW Customer services for a definative answer.

Personally, I would.
