Anyone have a rear (16" ) and front (15" ) standard 5 spoke Imola wheel, with or without tyres they would like to sell me? - i had a little slide into the kerb, and have slightly buckled wheels. I am happy to collect from a reasonable distance of Berks.
Please PM me with contact details if you can help.
Many thanks, David

Edited to correct the name of the wheel to Imola, thanks Jay

Hi Nick, thanks for the kind offer.
I could have kicked myself. I had just altered the settings on my Nitrons for the Ultimate Car Control course, and decided to test the car yesterday eveing just when it started raining. A little driver error had the back-end twitching, and bang, there it was.
The car performed fine today, but i do need to change the wheels and have all of the tracking and geometry checked, which i have booked for next Thursday.

Are you considering selling your old wheels? I could be persuaded to buy the set for a reasonable price. If you could give some thought to how much you would like for them, and PM me that woudl be great. If not, no worries mate

Hi

If it's the standard Chimaera five-spokes these are called Imola not Estoril - Estoril is the seven-spoke rim.

I have a pair of 15" Imolas (Chimaera five spokes) for sale if interested.

Hi Jay, how right you are, thanks for the correction paperbag
The rear is the most important to me at the moment, but if i get stuck i will get back to you.
Out of interest, could you PM me with what price you might be looking for.
Many thanks, David

Hi Mike, thanks for the very kind offer, i appreciate it.
I'll see how the search goes, and may give you a shout.

I ought to get up to the Berks meeting one of these months, but i am usually ferrying my daughter around on Tuesday evenings, so don't get much chance.
Note to self, must speak to SHMBO about this

rolleyes Without wishing to appear picky - no correction was needd and no thanks necessary! David correctly described his 5 spoke Chim wheels as Imolas in his first post before being told they ARE Imolas and not Estorils. eek (What am I doing here posting such a banal piece when the sun's shining and Trev is beckoning?)

The posting was edited from Estoril to Imola after the mistake was pointed out by me. I was only being my usual helpful self.

Thanks for the offer Jay, i am hoping to resolve my problem without spending quite that much. I just missed a set on PH at £175 - poor tyres, but that's not a problem.
