Anyone else staying near Ashford/Folkestone on the Wed night prior to Thursday am Eurotunnel?

Me and BlueYonder are staying at the Travel Lodge in Ashford on the Wednesday night. Just wondered if anyone else was going to be there or nearby? We're on the 09.05 train I think on the Thursday.

There are 12 (6 cars) of us staying at the Medway travel logde on the M2. Managed to get that for £26.00 per room at the time of booking.

£26 per room is pretty good, is that for twin rooms? I wonder if they have any space left scratchchin Might be worth a call.

How far is the Medway Travel Lodge from the tunnel terminal?

There are about 6 or 7 of us in hotels in Boulogne, so we get a good start thursday.
It also worked out cheaper to cross wednesday and stay that side than stay in kent wednesday and cross thursday.

We got a right bargain...

did somebody mention a bargain? ears ...

... but then we would have to get up, make our way from the M2 across to the M20, down the M20 a bit to meet with the rest of the crew at the Travel Lodge in Ashford which I've already bleedin well booked!

I'll go and find the tent next shall I?

hehe

ps: OY! and any chance of your driving history for the last 5 years and No claims and whatever else they might ask me for before they cover you to drive an obviously far more powerful car than you're used to?

Unfortunately the room prices shot back up to £56.00 the day after we booked.
