so the Sag is just over a year old now, 13K miles and no issues other than a couple of niggles (door seal, adjust window etc) ....but the outside is not fairing so well. Im always careful when washing (2 bucket method, wash mitts etc)...but both the front and rear badges (the TVR one and the Sagaris one on rear) are crumbling away...the look like they are made from high density foam, coated in a outer chrome layer...and are completely falling apart/dissappearing more with each wash !

Anyone else had this problem? ..and does anyone know where you can get new badges off the shelf (on backorder at dealer) ...or even better, can someone make some aftermarket replacement badges made of out solid metal or such like

TIA

2005 Sagaris - badges intact.
2006 Sagaris - badges scrap after 3 month.

Difference - one sees salt the other not.

DJS has itt all in hand and I am in danger of having to procure...

When at Chatsworth I saw quite a few Sag and TVR badges that were doing the same as you describe here.

I believe someone was trying to get hold of new badges but unsure what the details are.

Amazingly, our badges are fine and haven't started to disintegrate at all yet...

Bogie,

At the risk of 'advertising', look up DJC's profile and e-mail him with a subject header of 'Sagaris Badges' and another 'TVR Badges' explaining wot you want - he'll add you to his list and contact you when they're available. We're all hoping, and expecting , much higher quality and corrosion resistance than the OEM stuff!!

Cheers
