Flat Battery!!!!

Having been abroad for most of April and not been able to take her out, I am not surpised to find my battery flat - I have jump started her before on several occassions. But I have not encountered the problem I now have.

When I press the remote to unlock the car nothing happens apart from the alarm going off and the doors remain locked. When the battery has been flat before I could at least get in to the car etc., open up the clam and jump start her. If I press the remote again the alarm does turn off. The red light on the remote also does light up.

Is the battery completely flat / knackered (probably)? If so, how do I get in to the car to sort it out if the doors won't unlock???

Without posting it on here it is in the user manual that comes with the car.

Had similar problems.
Ignore the alarm for the moment, open the rear clam and connect a battery/jump to your car's battery. At this point the alarm/central locking will be operational and you will be able to enter the car and start her up.
