5.5 inches? Not on mine there isn't - more like 3 or 4 I would say - speed bumps are a problem. Was going to ask Austec if they can hoist the middel exhaust section any higher as this is the lowest part. Any other experiences out there?

Not just the ground clearance to consider, have to take into account the wheelbase.
Perhaps someone local to you would try theirs up your drive?

Your profile says you live in Herts, I am not a million miles away, I'd be happy to try my Chim over your drive (carefully)

My Chimaera just clears speed bumps, but the nose hits the slope of my drive as i go up it, then the tips of the exhaust ping the tarmac!

Underside of my nose is getting pretty scuffed. Need to increase the ride height a good half inch or so (thankfully have adjustable shocks, so not a problem, just need to find time to do it!)

Apologies if I'm teaching granny to suck eggs, but 'adjustable shocks' normally refers to the ability to adjust the damping, not the ride height. With most designs you can adjust the rise height too, but it's not as easy!
