Theres 2 funny electronic boxes in my wedge. Any ideas?

Theyre both in the wiring in the ECU/Wiper motor/RElay panel/fusebox area.

One says "Pektron" on it and has about 5 wires coming out of it.

The other says "Lucas 12V H", is a black aluminium extrusion, has a similar number of wires and looks like it used to be tie-wrapped to the wiper motor. I cant figure out what they must be for.

Its a 1988 390SE.

Anyone know??
