Tuscan ECU change to aftermarket

Hi everyone, writing on behalf of a good friend who owns a Tuscan.

In a brief (not detailed) conversation the other day, I asked how the Tuscan was going. He said there was a problem with the ECU and that he'd been quoted 6K to have it fixed...

Is this really the TVR main dealer cost for such a repair, or, are we talking about an engine rebuild which he didn't mention

Now, and to the original question, I am a customer of Mark Shead's (MA Developments) who is an Autronic dealer, before asking him about the conversion, I wanted to know if anyone had done this, how would TVR servicing be affected, etc... ?

Thanks in advance, I'd really like to see his car back on the road for the summer

You can get a fully mapped aftermarket system for about £1.5k.
