As I'm about to pass my first 1000 miles I thought I should find out if any Vauxhall dealers in N.I. will be able to do services and or inspections on a VXR? I would assume that a service is fairly standard as it is so cheap and probably uses consumables that any vauxhall dealer should be able to get but what about the inspection service, is it only the dealers that were originally named as monaro specialists that can look after me. What do the other N.I. drivers do with their cars? I figure if no one here can service them I can always pop over to scotland for a weekend to get it sorted ( Is there a dealer in Scotland for them?).

Roger@Townparks in Antrim sourced my VXR and have left it in a few times to them for warranty work and servicing - no problem for them to do the work, unless it needs parts - then there can be a delay of a few days as they order them across from scotland.

Excellent stuff thanks. will give them a call if I need anything sorted then. I might just check with my nearest as well on the off chance that they are able to work on them.

Any VAT registered garage can service them, and maintain your right to warranty as long as proper schedule is maintained, and OE parts are used.
