Respray , Camberley or Watford, any suggestions
Discussion
In the throws of a mid life crisis, I bought a Porsche 924, 2.0 1980. It has no rust, but I have had to replace the front wing.Does anybody know of where I can get a respray done , that is appropriate to the age and value of the car _ I am not looking for a factory finish, and I would like to do as much preperation, as I can , myself.
I live in Camberley, but work in Watford, so either area will do.
The car was resprayed in a metallic blue some 2 years ago
Hope somebody can help
Kind regards
James

How much are you looking to spend? Give these guys a ring, they are Porsche specialists in the area and may well be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck.

Excellent thread, this prompted me to recommend LTH Coachworks in Sunbury on Thames near Heathrow from my personal experience as customer. They resorted my Renault Alpine GTA turbo, right off from a spin on the road, rear end gone and front quarter. They completely rebuilt by hand. I even took the car and exhibited at the Performance and Kit Car show in Donnington in the main hall. It had many admiring visitors, and hence, if anybody needs work in their catchment area, I wouldn’t hesitate to give them a referral. They are doing some engine developments for these cars, and I’ll certainly be back to them!!
LTH Coachworks – speak to Luis – genuine Italian flare!

Dear Tol,
Point taken, but not spam - genuine post. I'm one of their customers and more than happy to help them out if I can. If you check my details you will see I have nothing to do with them and an electronics engineer, so you won't be catching me on the back end of a paint gun.
If I wasn't genuine, I wouldn't bother accepting that I was rather over enthusiastic trying to do a good turn. I have no trouble recommending someone when I think it is well deserved. I leave it there. Accept the point and thanks for the heads up.
Best regards, Martin
