Hi all,

Buying an SD card for an Ixus 900 which takes "SD, SDHC, and MMC cards".

Was going to buy a SanDisk 2GB, but there's loads of different types - Extreme III, Ultra II, etc. what's the difference and does it matter which I buy?

Go for SD.

Stick with Sandisk.

The different names refer to the transfer speeds. An Extreme III has a transfer rate of 133x (150kb/sec) and an Ultra II is 66x. It'll only make a real difference in the PC... but for the price, I'd go for an Extremem III.

Can highly recommend Picstop, great prices and efficient delivery. I have used them several times now.

www.camerapricebuster.co.uk is also useful for checking prices and is very easy to use.
