Received in the post this morning a flyer from Coys advertising cars for their next sale I believe in Monaco on the 21st May. And among the listings is a certain Cerbera Speed 12 ‘W112 BHG’.

That’s all, just thought I'd mention it for anyone interested!

Sorry, not for sale in Monaco. Being auctioned with Coys at Brands Hatch on the 27th May. And yes, I think it is the same car.

If it's a speed 12 then it's THE speed 12. What a car. Have a look at this video that I took-

I'm sure i damaged my hearing after that.

THIS PARTICULAR CAR DIDN'T, IT WAS ONE OF ONLY A FEW (I KNOW OF THREE) ROAD CARS BUILT, BUT IS THE ONLY ONE LEFT STANDING, FITTED WITH THE RACECARS BODYWORK.

P.S. I THINK YOU'LL ALL FIND THAT I AM ACTUALLY HEAD OF THE QUEUE TO OWN THIS NEXT, SO THERE!

It would be great for it to stay in the UK and why the hell hasn't it made an appearance up the hill at Goodwood yet!

I'd love to see it there.

This is the way I understand it. PW drove the 'road car' home one night and realised it was not a car that could realistically be sold to the general public, so he gave everyone their deposits back and cancelled the road car project.
The current road car was then used as spares for the two racecars. Once the racecars were retired the factory advertised the road car for sale. Once the negotiations for the sale were concluded the factory then canibalised the two race cars to build the road car.
What happened to the other two cars I know not, but I'll ask someone who should know tonight and get back if I need to add or correct anything I've said

I thought it did last year? I might be wrong though.

Edited to add

It made a static appearance in 2004 so I'm not sure it has run at the FOS

The red roadcar front and rear bodywork ( which was replaced on this car with the more dramatic race car body work) and a black center section of the tub were lying around out the back of the factory. The center section was still seen in some of the pics after the factory closed just lying around...

I think those that saw it doing 185mph up the lower prom at Back Home last year were more than impressed, and I doubt that those that were given a ride have got over the experience even now. To travel at that speed between concrete barriers with a couple of feet either side over uneven concrete slabs must have been scarry.

yes in the tuscan I was having to back off at about 120 as the back of the car was trying to take off on the bumps and come round on me yikes the road wasnt flat in fact it was made of curved concrete sections to aid water drainage.. very bouncy

Kerry said that at about that speed the wing on the s12 loaded up and flattened everything out, so he kept his foot in, and it just went faster and faster. If id tried to do that Id have spun into the sea wall yikes
