Picked up the car last night from RapidGB with a Kazz diff upgrade & Racelogic. Also had a bigger fuel pump fitted & new wiper blades

Dunno if it's 'cos I've been trucking around in my dad's old 4WD wagon for the last couple of weeks, but the monaro seems to drive loads better - sharper away from stand still.

The noise generated when breaking traction is a bit strange - I expect I'll get used to it though

Kaaz diff, you swine, I want one of them.

If you turn the racelogic OFF does the diff lockup instantly?

I was thinking about the Kazz but opted for returning to 3.41 and the harrop cover (and everything appears fine).

Enjoy the Race logic, gives much more confidence in the wet. I tend to run mine on setting 6 which seems to work fine for my car (wet setting in wet!).

Mark configured the Racelogic to a fairly standard setting. I have yet to read the manual. It's set to 10% for driving but I haven't tried it in the off position. The diff is 3.46 (standard for a 2004 CV8).

Does anyone know how to disable the factory fit TC by default? I'm sure I have spoken to someone who posts here about this.

There is info on the ls1gto forum. I think its called a "reverse switch" or somesuch. Do a search on there for "traction control reverse". I think they need to delay the switch for a bit until the ignition has initialised the system, which meant early units wernt working too well. I think thats fixed now though. Around $80 from memory.
It basically inverts the stock switch function (default to off instead of on)
