Does the plastic wallet hold Le Mans sized tickets??

Last years was a bit on the... small side.

The new plastic holder is upright and 8.5cm wide and 10.5cm in length, that is the measurement of the actual bit that holds the ticket, while last years was 9cm wide and 6cm in length.

I know Garlick took into account feedback received so this should fit the ticket

Do the tickets fit without folding them then?

Otherwise will just use last years lanyards

As mentioned above the plastic wallet is double the length of last years. so you shouldn't have to fold it in half.

Hope this helps.

The plastic wallet is alot bigger, but without folding Le Mans tickets, there is a very good chance they will get damamged.

To be honest, the plastic wallet could do with being double the length again to fit it all in, and slightly wider as well. I'll do some comparison pictures.

This one is of the Ticket holder with a BSB Ticket for Knockhill, with the tearoff strip removed it will be ok.

I've overlaid a wallet onto a Full size LM ticket. Without folding along the perforations, it simply doesn't fit. More than one ticket doesn't fit either.

I've put one of this years wallets against my ticket wallet (got it in 2000) that I used last year, you can see last years lanyard, this years wallet fits in between the white my wallet, added a full ticket for scale.

and to give an Idea of what needs to go in it, I laid out everything that came out of my wallet from last year, including, bizarrly, a still intact MB Tribune ticket! confused

tvradict - great detailed response there, top marks!!!

Dear PH shop, with much respect (you do bring us some great stuff!) Surely sourcing plastic ticket holders that are big enough to hold said tickets plus grandstand tickets etc, can't be too hard to source? £3 per lanyard (12 required) is quite pricey if we have to squash up our tickets like last year again!

yes I was also looking at buying a few but if I can't get all the tickets in there is no point, will the PH Shop be able to get larger plastic wallets to go with the lanyards

Just recovering and sorting out after PistonFest, I will see what Garlick can do regarding this this.

No joy this year, but we will have the bigger holders next year.

Sorry to get your hopes up.
