Hi All... My wife has always loved the 911 as featured in the film BadBoys - could someone confirm the model / year etc so I'm able to look at prices? I understand the 911 featured may have been some kind of limited edition?

Thanks, Rob.

Yes, it was. 964 Turbo II 3.6. Nice. Anywhere from 25K to 45K, mileage and condition dependent or 100K if you're after the S model and have a fondness for Nick Faldo.

More likely a Turbo 2 3.6 with the split rim 18" Speedline wheels.
As the USA didn't get the "proper" 964 RS I'd be surprised if they got the Turbo S.

I think they refer to it being a Turbo S at some point. A quick trawl of imdb.com and I came up with this...

Marcus Burnett: Hey man where-where-where's your cup holder?
Mike Lowrey: I don't have one.
Marcus Burnett: What the f- w'you mean you don't have one? Eighty thousand dollars for this car and you ain't got no damn cup holder?
Mike Lowrey: It's $105,000 and this happens to be one of the fastest production cars on the planet. Zero to sixty in four seconds, sweetie. It's a limited edition.

If you ever has the misfortune to watch MTV Cribs or any of that shite, every celebrity owner thinks their bog standard CL600 or C4 Cabriolet Tiptronic is some sort of limited edition made especially for them at the factory. I'm assuming that this type of codology is part of a standard, par for the course sales technique used on those with a severely-cashed-up/brains imbalance. Most of them only have vague notions as to what they're buying in any event, so telling them it's a one-off probably helps when trying to fleece them of the proceeds of their latest album/movie/sit-com/porno/whatever.

it had french plates on, so it wasn't necessarily a US model

When I see pictures like these, I wish I'd had the courage of my convictions to buy the black S that I saw at Gmund last year. furious

I thought it was Michael Bay's car (director). He also owned the Ferrari used in the sequel that Martin Lawrence managed to tt the door into a concrete post AFTER it had survived all the chase work unscathed eek
