With the demise of the factory and its excellent servicing facilities the only "dealer" option now seems to be Cicely in Preston, who are mainly Mercedes merchants (and have labour rates accordingly!). Have used them in the past but wondering if someone can recommend any independents in or near the Fylde?

Cheers

Dave

P.S. - What happened to H L Gorner?

Look no further than Heath Briggs and Paul Forrest the guys who are in Kirkham (6 miles from Blackpool) who also service for Cicely in Preston at the moment. They come highly recommended by all who know them, and can you do any better than the guys who ran the official Factory service department at TVR?
They have a garage in Kirjkham (6 miles from Blackpool)and service a lot of the Blackpool TVR club members cars.
Very reasonable rates, and they couldnt be more helpful or friendly (thats a fiver you owe me Heath)laugh

Superb, thanks. I know Heath as he's worked on my car in the past and assumed he'd be carrying on regardless

Cheers for the info

And not forgetting the every so slightly further away, but equally excellent TorqueRVT www.torquervt.co.uk/ in Middlewich thumbup

Having stuck with the dealer network for a short while previously, its really good to have some excellent independants who offer good service, top workmanship and don't leave you feeling that you've been ripped off!

Wot he sed!

We don't go anywhere without our Automedon mugs. Even if they've usually got cider instead of tea or coffee in them.

Can only agree with wilder on recommending Heath and Paul.
They were doing some work on my Griff and Heath actually delivered my car to me at 7.30 pm on Friday (some parts where late) so I didn't miss out on the weekend. Now try and get that kind of service anywhere else.

By the way H L Gorner went bust last year, Mike Clarke is now at Cicley.

If anyone is interested in paint, crash repairs or modifications then a new bodyshop has been set up called Surface & Design and they are based just around the corner from the old TVR site.
Contact.
