Went to Emerald yesterday for her to be set up and this was the headline figures, i'm a bit gutted she did not make 500bhp, just for the bar room! but wow it pulls soooo smooth now the holes have been filled in, as it was really weak in places. It will take full throttle from 900rpm and pull clean to the self imposed 6500rpm rev limit. It makes over 400lbs/ft from around 2k up! will post dyno graph when i have time.

Don't worry too much about the 500 number. Power claims / pub talk are one thing and road performance quite another. There is many a car that claims figures but doesn't live up to that on the road. I came back from Le Mans and a supposedly 450bhp evo was easily smoked by a stock griff 500.

Your car is not as it left the factory so not comparing directly with AJP cars but nevertheless I imagine this is now probably the real world most powerful and certainly torquey cerb on the road.

Would be good to see how it performs alongside a factory spec and even tuned cars on the road. How does it compare from the drivers seat?

I didn't realise that Dave's roller setup could handle those sorts of numbers

Does make you wonder what would have happended to TVR if they had gone the LS route in the first place. Apparently the latest stock LS7 as installed in the corvette with cams and headers and a remap will kick out 640bhp and nudge 600ft lb

Well done

David

Mmmmmm.... LS7 lick One day...................

By the way, I'll be organising a supercar 1 mile sprint this summer, so Brummie will get a chance to slay all comers should he feel up to it. Maybe we should keep the whole LS conversion thing quiet and watch the Lambo boys scratch their heads when he vanishes off over the horizon!!

Here you go guys, New filter element is on the case for obvious reasons.
The system i have made i used 2 of the original sports boxes which are 2" bore as the rest of the system and exit silencers are 2.5". This may create a bit of a restriction, so maybe later

I have a TKO 600 gearbox on the back off it so it is geared 6200/202mph, so its quite tall at that. It hits the 6200 soft cut (6500 hard cut) at 140mph in 4th.
