Chippenham - friendly warning

Just thought i'd post a friendly warning that the police are out in force in Chippenham.

Speed trap in the layby southbound A350 just after the A4.

Blue undercover accord having pulled someone over on the A4 out of town.

Couple of motorbike cops heading towards the school district.

all within 5-10 minutes!

yeah, i nipped out for 5 minutes and was amazed at how many I saw... all catching motorists though

Makes a nice change that they are actually out there with people rather than the usual scamera van.

Bit late on spotting this thread, but keep an eye out for a silver X5 in the area its BiB

Or it could be me!!!!!!!

Actually there a couple of police X5's that operate out of Devizes HQ. I think one is silver and one is a dark blue/black. You often find them in pairs and I believe they are the heavy mob with a few toys that go bang.

I guess it was my lucky day when I saw it then, as it pulled the porker ahead of me.
Pure luck it wasn't me I must have been practicing my "how to look innocent whilst tear arsing it along at :cough: speed" look that day...which is no mean feat with the hood down and the car sounding like a spitfire in a dog fight
