I've just found out that HotTrax do a few per year. Each event costs around £700 for a 6 hour race.

Basically you enter a team consisting of 2/3 people.

I Think it would be brilliant to have a go & based on 3 people its only £100 more than a normal trackday.

I've not done an endurance race on the bike, but have done a 1000km race in my Caterham which was top fun! I assumed that the best bit would be the driving (obviously!), but watching a team-mate from the pit wall was much more exciting as it turned out as you had a better idea of how the race was going. I would do one again in a moment if the circumstances were right - I say go for it!

It is open to ACU race licence holders & novices, as long as they can prove a decent race pace

A mate used to be an instructor for Hottrax and he was on their KRC Endurance team a couple of years ago.
