Here's some pics of my 996 out in the sun yesterday to help you through the day. It's a 2000 C4 in Vesuvius Grey. I've only had it a couple of months and I am new to this forum. Hope you like the pics.

Daft isn't it, looks pretty good to me! It's a daily driver so won't be clean for long. Cheers.

Bin it or make sure you only use it to clean the alloys.
New sponge every time you wash the car. Just think of the grit and sand and soil in that now, which you are going to rub all over the car the next time you wash it.

Thanks rude boy. Yes the sponge is no more. It's wash mits from now on and microfibre drying cloths. It's not so clean now but what a great afternoon!

You've read my mind. I'll probably wait a while but a bit more noise would be good. It's nice to share a thing of beauty! It's my daily car though, does a sports exhaust make it a bit wearing?

What about MOT time? I guess the PSE is legal? Are some best avoided?

Not sure about the UK , but if you have it in Stealth mode , surely they can't comment??

PSE is the Porsche product .. And in the opinion of many of the guys on here , about the best you can go for ...

I specced PSE for my 996 when new, March 02, had 3 MOT's and loudness never been mentioned.

Awesome sound, even after driving it for 80K miles, should be standard fitment, but don't agree with the switchable option, it should be left in loud mode all the time.

Depends which exhaust, as stated. PSE is good, however I've just had a Dansk fitted to mine and it's great.

Slightly louder in normal driving, no booming on the motorways. Only kicks in when you want it to i.e. when you start driving a bit more enthusiastically. Very happy with it.

Had it fitted by Johnny Wishbones fine establishment.
