Just got my 330 HP chip from Sanj. When I installed the chip it was a blessing to know that it helped me discover a problem my check engine light could not detect.

First off, I noticed that I did not get any boost over 9psi, wastegate setting. I attached an oscilloscope to see if the boost solenoid received any PWM's from the ecu. None whatsoever! I decided to look further and with all my inginuity I decided that it must be an ecu problem. But it wasn't!

I decided to short A & B on the ALDL and wala! Code 26 showed up. Reading the EFfile, this was a Secondary Injector circuit. So, I removed the resistor and checked its resistance and it was fine. However, I noticed that one of the legs was loose in the socket of the fuse box. I got a dental pick and bent the prong so that it would have more pressure on the contacts. I also sprayed some flux cleaner and sanded down the resistor just to make sure.

Shabam! My esprit turned into the moster it should have always been. The boost shot up and gave the desired 17.64 psi and the front end of the car almost went into space. I have not spinned the tires, maybe because they are Toyos, but I can't wait till the chip is fully embedded.

For all those in America, I highly sugggest you invest in this chip. The service that Sanj provided me was excellent. He received my memcal on a friday and I got it back on monday. Now that is what I call service!

So, if you have any boost related problems, I suggest you check the ALDL codes and go from there before you start having headaches wondering why is my cart not getting enough boost as I did. After that, invest in the chip from Sanj and you will be one happy camper!

Dindo, this is all making sense now. I have had problems with boosting for a while now. These became more apparent since installing the high torque chip. Now, sometimes I have loads of boost (off the gauge) and then I get the wastegate regulated 0.6 bar or so. This weekend I got code 26 which brings me to pretty much what you had. Please could you tell me which resistor you checked and the value it should be? Also, which fuse box was the leg loose in? Thank you in anticipation. I think I must have had an intermittent problem for a while now.

Ahhh, another 330 convert. Sanj is definately the man. The 330 chip works even better with a larger turbo...Evilyn has ridiculous amounts of power on tap with them both.

A very fast car.
