Does anyone know if you can buy any plastic headlight covers for a Chim - I'm getting fed up of getting smashed headlights - now 3 in the last two years. Thanks

Yes you can buy what are called "Carbodomes" from the TVR club website.
Which are plastic discs which attach with some sticky back heavy duty velcro, however they do a good job, but dont look to pretty when up close to the car, from a distance you would not notice them.

Unfortunately they are not the ones that you see on the later Chims and on the Griffs which are the ones I am looking for. The total enclosures for the lights!!!!!

If anyone has any info on those that would be great, sorry to butt in on your post!!!!!!

Sadly, these cannot be retro-fitted to a chim. The latest models with the faired lights have a different wing configuration. You need to cut and re-mould the wings to have these fitted. If you have a search on here, i am sure there was a thread running about a guy who has had it done. Must admit though, it does seriously improve the look of the car.

The TVR Power 4 ltr supercharge has had them retro fitted. You could try calling them, they may be able to help

It's a Mk3 front end, IIRC

When I actually have any spare time I want to buy some secondhand bezels and make some flared type covers.should be able to butcher the bezels and bond on moulded clear covers. But allas too much work, renovating the house and getting the hill climb mini ready for competion at the moment.
