Lambo or Le Mans techies... I have just been reading the Le Mans tech regulations (I know, I know), and as I thought 4WD/AWD is still banned - any idea how the Japanese Murc entry has got around this reg? And surely modifying the drivetrain to comply is a breach in regs itself? Sorry if this is a bit technical, but interested to know...

Cheers and good luck to them though!

Don't know, but it ran last year. couldn't get a close enough look to see if it was four wheel drive.

The sound that car generated was brilliant. Was gutted when they went bang but they did ok.

Early hours of the morning went bang? It was still running at 1pm on the Sunday.

Andy.

I agree, it looked and sounded fantastic! Glad they have been accepted again (Audi influence anyone?) but it is for the good of the sport, I think the ACO are trying to break the Corvette/911 cartel in the GT classes...

But it's not allowed to race as a standard Murc is AWD with 70% to the rear and 30% to the front!!

Don't know how reliable a source it is, but this site says its RWD. Has a lot more of the spec too.
