How long to wait?

I got an NIP a week ago, mobile unit about on Easter Monday. I'll be wanting evidence etc as described on ukspeedtraps.co.uk, but don't know how long I should leave it before writing back to them asking for all the other info.

The NIP specifies 28 days, but should I leave it right up to the last few days, or go back fairly sharpish with the letter?

Any opinions/advice anyone?

Why wait. It won't make any difference in the end so why risk missing the deadline.
