Has your mate tried Autotrader? There are three listed at the moment under 35 miles from me - all under 40,000 miles and 7K or less.

There's a much larger selection available if your mate could travel a bit further however.

Thanks mei. One of the problems is trying to weed out genuine vehicles - with a car like the Focus its a lot more difficult! Hence, any "known" vehicles are a much better bet!

Your welcome i will keep looking,all we had was an 04 Ghia with about 40k on it which they could do for £7895 so a bit higher than you wanted.

Ive got one.05 plate 1.6 lx tdci metallic greyish colour.21k miles.Took it into Cardiff this morning to try and part ex it against a focus st.Book says trade part ex is £7660.Bloke in garage offered me £7000-I went home in disgust.
I'd consider offers between 7 and 7.6k.Is that too high for your friend?
