London to Silverstone Supercar run - some pics nice Bugatti

Hi there,

Went to Silverstone today for the first day of the FIA GT event.

The first day is given over to testing for the support races (FIA GT3, GT4 and GT90's Revival) and also for the London to Silverstone Supercar run.

The supercar run starts in London and makes its way up the country before assembling at Towcester racecourse. After a brief stop the cars made their way to the Silverstone circuit and completed some procession laps around the circuit.

Tooks loads of pictures as usual and will post them as I work through them.

Some of these didn't attend in particular the Koenigsegg was missing.

Here is a picture of the Bugatti Veyron that was part of the run: -



This is the first Veyron I have seen and I love the car and love it finished in this classic Bugatti colour scheme.

Also the FIA GT3 race saw loads of Ferrari F430's and 6 Lamborghini Gallardo race cars.
Gotta say that is a seriously big spoiler on the Gallardo.

Is the Bugatti the same French one as this or has someone else ordered the same colours?

Hi there,

Heres a few photos of some of the track action: -

The McLaren F1 only managed less than half a lap during the first session. It came out of the entrance by the Brooklands suites rounded Luffield corner and dived back into the pits.



Nice Marcos from the GT90's revival



New Ford GT - two of these are entered in the FIA GT3 series



Another Gallardo (well who could resist ??)
