Got my new Spec Rockhopper Disc in stealth black on Wednesday and I've managed to scratch it already. Not a big scratch but it's quite deep. Any suggestions what I should touch it up with? Will it rust if I don't repair it?

Is it not an alloy frame? If so, no rust to worry about.

Unlike cars, mountain bikes should have a few battle scars, just to show they're not only used on the road!

It's an M4 alloy frame. Glad to hear rust isn't an issue. Thanks.

I wouldn't mind so much if it was a battle scar, but I scratched it trying to squeeze it in to the back of the car. I really need to get a cycle carrier.
