Address for Le Mans

Sat Nav unneccessary. A map will suffice. Easy route. But up to you.
Last year we had 20 cars in convoy (sort of) and the only one who got lost (BOTH DIRECTIONS!!!) was using Sat Nav. On the way back muppet programmed Rouen into the streets and ended up in Rouen Street in Rennes. hahahah

Don't just follow your satnav to the front gate. You need to follow the coloured signs to the correct car park/camping area or you could waste a lot of time.
In my experience following the coloured signs to the car park/camping wasts a lot of time! For Expo you get routed miles out of the way by the red signs! It is a question though as to whether I can recognise the correct exit of the ring road, to arrive easily at the entrance to Expo!

It pays to look at the planned route first
Best thing to do is put important locations in (eg: Le Mans, ferry port, anywhere else you want to visit) and just use them when you need to get to somewhere specific. Beats reading a map when you're on your own in the car and whilst it's probably easier now, first time I went through Rouen it was...interesting to say the least (it was also around 6pm so fairly busy!)

Not much point arriving triumphantly at the front gate having fought your way through the queues if you're going to Houx though is there?
For a newbie it's a lot simpler to follow the signs first time and then sort out the short cuts later.

Doesn't really matter we always seem to get lost in LeMans, what is it with that place?I go every year and guaranteed to get lost, such a weird place to navigate.............anyone else have a problem?
The road system is basically “Roman” hence most of the main roads head to the centre imagine it like a wheel with the spokes as the road in and out and then several “ring” roads. Another way just follow signs for centre ville to get in to town and ZI sud (zone industrial south) to get to the circuit. There are a few shortcuts to stuff and places to park in town, but they were discovered over years and not easy to follow, I find the west of Le Mans the hardest part to navigate around
Gassing Station | Le Mans | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

Has anyone got the address for the circuit / postcode?
