Taking out the gear box

As part of the body off I was trying to take out the engine and gear box before removing the body. Everything is no unbolted, but the gear box won't move. Removed the plate inside the car over the gear stick and hand brake and can see that the remote linkage is above the chassis rails, T5 gear box. Removed the bolts that go through the linkage but the linkage still won't come off, it would appear that there are sleeves in the linkage, how do I remove them, or should I be unbolting something else.

I had this on mine, there's a nylon bush at the input of the linkage to the box (where you've taken the bolt out) knock it out with a suitably sized drift (bolt, punch etc.....) and that should be it - assuming you've also unbolted the front of it etc.....

Thanks, drove nylon bushes out. Engine and Gearbox now out of the car. Just got to take the body off now :-).
