Well, she started first time, but wont run, i.e. it`ll fire up every time, but that`s it. It did run for around 3 minutes, but that was by pouring petrol into the cold start feed.

We think it`s a pressure sensor problem and wrong routing of fuel lines.

Looks like I need a fuel pressure sensor and a fuel pressure regulator.

Is there a fuel return to tank on the Monaro ?

I *think* it might be returnless but I'm not 100% on that. Do you want me to take some pictures?

As Richard says. Normally they use a dead end, with a regulator of sorts at the rear.

Of course you can upgrade this if necessary, but in most cases, up to around 5-600bhp, it isnt necessary.

I read the thread on this car over on LS1tech the other day. It took me about 2hours to read most of it. The fabrication is amazing, Congratulations Peter123.

I love reading about the cars that swallow LS1's. Picked up my favourite car mag and it had an RX7 with one in it! I am dying to see the Cossie and of course the Astra as well when there is video of it!
Watched Stevieturbo's Granada down the quarter-mile, pretty sure I hadn't seen that before. What would happen if it had drag tyres on it?

hi pete ,are the injectors working you can check with a led (only work correct way round), you can test the fuel pressure at the front of the fuel rail. i have a few sensors at work if you are stuck,if you have a spark i take it the crank sensor etc are ok,there is a easy way of sorting the fuel pressure if its the problem give me a ring if i can help 07950399080, cheers craig

Pete, is it just me or is there a Ford Falcon coupe sneaking around in your garage somewhere? Blue and white one?

Well the wife's out for evening and instead of the normal surfing of dodgy material I've checked out the "conversion" if you can call it that!! Pete I have to say that you've truely created an isane machine, i've looked at all the 126 photobucket photos and you really have done such amazing thing there. Not only the huge task of the project itself which of course is just crazy, but the photo's are ace and will show others just what a task you've undertaken. ( have you kept a record of hours? almost impossible I know )
you should have an monster eating beast there and I'll be sure to keep an eye out for 0-60 times etc...... Would love to see you pull up next to a supercar and watch his face as you smoke him off the line, lets hope you can get that power down!!! ( what rear tyres you running? )
Almost speachless and I've been around a few mad creations ( most of which never got finished ) and know how much effort has to be put in to finish such a huge project.
Hat off and bow down, you the man bow

PS . idea I see that you might even have room for a blower under there wobble

Thanks mate, most appreciated
No I haven`t kept a record of the hours, but it must be a few 100.

Rear tyres .... 265 x 35 18`sn Toyo Proxes T1`s

As for a blower, it`s coming

There is a Falcon in there, but it`s terracotta and grey, the blue and white one was a Mercury Cougar

VATS Richard, Paul Spinks came down on friday and disabled it and some other bits.
It starts first crank, and runs ok, every time now.

Big thanks to Paul
