The K'hill website doesn't give much detail as to what's actually on though confused

If I can get a free ticket somehow I might go, I went last year (or year before) as I got in for free, but remember thinking it wouldn't be worth paying for!

Seemed to be a bit of a shambles!

Why, when you can go to Fintray hillclimb the same weekend? Grampian Automobile Club have 100+ entries for this event, which has competition runs on both Saturday and Sunday. Entry includes the likes of John Stevenson with 500+ bhp in a roadgoing Scooby, and there is a rumour that the Predator V10 might make an appearance if they can get the Arrows GP engine back in the car in time...

And Stiglet will be there with his new toy, too!

I think the concessions / free tickets last year were obtained in the Daily Record (or one of the other daily comics).
No idea if the same deal will be available this year, though.

We'll be going along for 2 reasons:
1: It's virtually on our doorstep;
2: I've no idea what the Fintry hillclimb is all about....

Maybe see you there. Maybe not.

I went last year and it was pretty good - the main attraction being the 2003 Ferrari F1 car and Enzo FXX running on track. Not sure about this year tho. Got the guide to it today in The Sun and have to say it's not grabbing me. The main attractions seems to be the launch of the new Mondeo, some stunt shows and face painting - hmmmm. They're really pushing the 'family day out' angle this time. Rio Prestige are going to be there - always nice to see the Supercars but are we going to see them thrashed round the track? Dunno whether to bother this year...

Hey guys. I will be there with my Canon Powershot S3 IS . Hopefully the zonda (9GJ) will be there and can't wait to see rio's Spyker cool

Anybody know what other cars will be there? Will the FXX be there this time or was it a one off like last time? Any info on cars that will be there would be appreciated.

Thanks

There is no Formula 1 presence this year or FXX on track which is a shame. The supercars will be getting thrashed round the track at regular intervals though! Main attraction seems to be Jet-Pac man!
I was at KH yesterday and Merc where there delivering all thier cars, very nice SL63 AMG and loads of others.
They have also lined up a major celebrity to open the show!!!
I will be wandering about taking pics for Knockhill all weekend.Getting a sneak preview later in the week, so will post a few pics up!

Colin.

Thank you for the link.
Alas it doesn't do anything for me.....

It looks like I'll be at Knockhill - may even pop in to get a quote from the Extreme Detail blokes (if I can persuade the wife & kids that we should take 2 cars up).

We are taking the new Spyker which arrived last night. We will also have our new truck on display which is quite frankly awesome!

People have tried. It is the most state of the art 2 car transporter in the UK. We weren't going to take it but DAF asked us if they could borrow it!

we are looking into providing a transport service but it gets complicated with insurance, operators licences etc.
