Does de-catting affect the adaptives?

Guys, Cats or no Cats won't make any difference to the Adaptives!
The cats are positioned after the lambda sensors so all they do is remove the unwanted gases. The Lambda sensors monitor the unburnt fuel and tells the ECU to adapt the fueling!!!!!

I may be wrong and will be the first to put my hand up, but I thought that the decats gave a better straight through flow, thus no back pressure or build up, which gives nice "clean/pure" readings on the lambdas, thus meaning that the engine management will have less of a struggle with the adaptives due to air/fuel readings being passed straight over and straight out the back. Thus in a round about way affecting the adaptives.
Could be wrong and value any info...
