Whoops nearly one less S

Out with another TVR owner today (Chim 500) playing around the Fen roads. Tight left hander, selected 3rd for blasting out of corner. Corner tightened loads towards end, more lock, neutral throttle. Bloody hell, the thing let go on the exit, heading towards hedge. About to flick it back the other way to get things straight again when two bloody big horses appear along road. Cant boot it cos of noise and scaring the horses. After what seemed like a lifetime I got it straight without hitting anything. Girlfriend not too happy. Mate in Chim thought it looked great from where he was sitting.

Anybody had the back end suddenly step out after a tight corner?

Nearly bloody shat myself.

I think a trip to get chassis and suspension checked out for alignment as this isn't the first time it been twitchy on the twisty stuff.

I have noticed mine gets a bit unsettled if you dont keep the power on during the exit, even going to neutral throttle seems to take it off line, but it hasn't broken away on me , yet!!

Sounds like lift-off oversteer, which can be vicious.

It certainly can, and not uncommon in RWD cars
