just returned from a glorious week in the scottish highlands, thuroughly recommend it to anyone thinking about making the trip, fantastic roads, mostly empty, and wonderful scenery.
after 5 days in the highlands, dropped down to stirling and stayed at Broomhall Castle for a couple of nights, where the scotland tvr club boys meet up, so a big thank you to Tye, and all the scots lads and lasses who made my wife and I feel so welcome.
thoroughly enjoyed the spirited run out, even though my car was grounding out in places as the new shocks need to be raised up a touch!
a hello to the names I can remember, Alan, Tiny/ Little John, James, and a special thank you to Roger for a ride in his Sagaris thumbup

looking forward to coming up again next year, it was one of the best driving experiences that I`ve ever had. driving

Hi Clive,
Can you let me know which roads and hotels you recommend (in addition to Broomhall Castle). I fancy doing this next year and would appreciate some recommendations.

Cheers,

Glad you enjoyed your stay Clive. We're quite a civilised bunch up here. Colin, if your looking for a good hotel around the Fort William area try the Glen Spean Lodge hotel. The club up here have the odd weekend here. If you mention TVR the owner will give you a discounted rate of £49pp dbb (except July/August). The food is really good.

Hi Clive,

Were you one of the group (including a green wedge) that I saw passing through Arrochar, Argyll about 3 pm on Saturday 21 April.
