As many of you will know, I haven't been a well bunny recently.
I was hit with Meningitis on the day of the Lamborghini Birmingham launch, but it wasn't actually diagnosed for a further 4 days (and 3 ambulances and a paramedic). During which time I was in agony.
Generally, if treatment doesn't start within 72 hours you're usually a goner. My doctor's comment "I have no explanation for your survival. You should consider yourself the luckiest man on earth this month." pretty much sums things up for me.
A big 'THANK YOU' to all those who gave words of support and good wishes on the thread that Lisa started. It's always nice to see friends coming to your side in times of crisis.
Not one to let a brain bug keep me down, I'm hoping to be at the Scottish Motor Show this weekend. Poor Larry has been fraut with worry and deserves a stretch of the legs.
Be warned. After a brush with death, I'm likely to be even less sympathetic towards to those whining about depreciation or running costs of a supercar.
Life is short. Sometimes, a good deal shorter than you where expecting.
Thanks again, guys.
