I've spent hardly any time in the Chim in last few months. Horrible winter weather, decorating an entire house followed by miscellaneous electrical problems (the car, not the house) and then a slipped disc (me, not the car) conspired against any decent hooning.

I spent last weekend fitting a new battery, new relays and generally just checking the connections in the footwell and finally got her all up and running again.

So... when we fired her up for a decent run yesterday afternoon, all those days spent staring at the rain/paintbrush in hand/laid up in bed just disappeared - she was running like a gem. Parked up in a garden centre (the DIY's not completely finishedrolleyes) and had a few people come up and ask me about the car and waited for me to start her up (bet you don't get that with a Porker)...

So basically, everything's great. The decent weather's on the way, the car's running sweetly and the house is painted.

I just thought it made a nice change from the usual 'my car's broken, how do I fix it'-type thread...
