Help, want to put camcorder tapes onto DVD

i want to be able to put my camcorder tapes onto DVD, can anyone recomend any software?
or anything else i need?

What about nero or pincal, you will also need a IEEE 1394 connection on computer (fire wire i think) and the lead to connect to this from your camcorder, around £15

If all you want to do is make direct copies you can just stream them from the camcorder onto a normal domestic dvd recorder. No need for computers or software.
