Fastest IOM TT Lap available on DVD?

Slight O/T question here.

A few PHers have just got back from Hooning around the IOM last weekend in our cars and we are having a problem comprehending just what an avaerage 128+ mph lap must be like?

Does anyone have suggestions of what the fastest lap available on DVD is?

Can't help directly - I suspect Duke Video keep this stuff for themselves - but there's a good amount of stuff on youtube, although these are mainly of amateurs with varying degrees or talent/bravery. The stuff I've seen of the TT course involves large sections with the throttle pinned in 6th (I'd guess 200+ is on the cards with a race prepped bike), it's pretty staggering to watch.

I think Duke released a video a couple of years back with some fast laps of the TT on it...

The fastest lap is normally on the latest years DVD is they just keep getting quicker. The 2006 review has a lap with Guy Martin but I'm not sure of the speed, the 2005 has a lap with Martin Finnegan averaging 127mph.

You'll get the idea, whats 2 mph between brick walls and drain covers?

Everytime I watch one of these on board laps it scares me!

I have the 2005 & 2006 DVD's, PM me if you want to borrow them. The on-board video also can show acceleration/braking data too.

Suggest you try Amazon/Play/CDWOW as I'm sure I got them cheaper off there.

DJ was a riding God. Sadly missed...
