The 2007 PDRC Championships got underway this weekend at York, where we somehow avoided the wet weather, with the first round of American Super Stock being won by Howard Holmes.

I've uploaded nearly 300 pics from both days at my site:

Hello Richard !
Is this blue tricycle starting as car or bike,
and what engine/times/speeds does it run ?
There are some cars that do not seem to start @ Santa Pod ?
Cheers,
Benni

Yep, more info on the quad thing please !

Benni, York has always had cars that dont travel to the Pod, primarily due to the distances involved I would say.

Avon park/Shakey has a similar following of cars that dont/wont go to the pod.

That Trike quad thing would never be able to run at the Pod or shakey, as the rules quite clearly state NO THREE WHEEL VEHICLES ALLOWED!!!

Why cant it run? How is that unsafe compared to a bike with only 2 wheels?

Hi Benni, the trike was a bike until last year and has been around for some time I hear. Its owned by Graham Sykes and is powered by a 450hp 5.0L V8. Looks to run it mainly in the NSA sprints. He made one pass at York, had a few problems with it, not sure what he ran but I'll be able to tell you soon. Looking at NSA results it runs into the 10s at 130+mph.

Some old info on here: www.thefang.co.uk/v-8s.htm

And it has run at the Pod: www.vsprint.net/results.htm

I think you will find it has run at Santa Pod, there was a thread about it here.

Maybe at a marginal RWYB, but not at a proper meeting, unless it was demonstration, but i doubt that

It ran at a RWYB earlier this year.
