What to do with the exhaust?
Discussion
That is things that won't result in serious physical injuries when Nic finds out her car isn't as "quiet" as it should be...
Basically, the Griff exhaust is knackered. The flexi section leaks and the backbox rattles in quite an interesting way when you move it around in the garage.
Taking out the rattling stuff and calling it done isn't an option, and I have been told that a couple of cherry bombs are *not* an acceptable answer on pain of pain.
I expect I need a minimum of a new 3" flexi bit and a new silencer box, plus whatever bits are needed fit it all together. The pipework is still sound.
So, suggestions of where to source some bits to make a "quiet" (99dB or so) exhaust would be very much appreciated!
