black car, 4th down. Seems very good value. Anyone know anything about it? I know I could call them and ask the mileage - but just wondered if anyone else already has...

Personally, I would only be bothered about the presence of litronics?

If the mileage is sub 60k and it has Litronics its a bargain.

Actually its a Savsh1tta interior I think...so its worth f8ck all to me

Nice.

Guess its higher mileage at that price though.

Sure Henry will tell you to buy on condition but bet if it had lower miles it would be on for 3-4k more....

Come on Henry...prove us all wrong

it seems cheap at first but you have to think how many miles it must have on it because they will still be making a significant profit.

If the interior colours not a problem for you (although not my taste you do see quite a few about so someone must like it)it looks an incredibly good value car.

Yes but he puts the milage on Auto trader when ever he has a car on there !! All banter I reckon

Re-mileage , I presume if ,as stated, the drop links have been done , then the car has likely done at least 60k plus?

Bet it is when he's buying!! I would be amazed if he'll bid on anything without knowing how many it's done...........

Are we having a sweepstake? I'd be happier with the mileages you suggest than with one with 60-odd, leaving me with the 72k service to pay for.

I have no problem with high mileage cars and would reckon this one has done over 80k.

Anymore for any more?!

I`ll guess at 77,905 miles.

Once again.... the number on the speedo dictates the most we can ask for a car, the car it`s self the price up to that point. There is not correlation between the amount of work a car has done and the number on the speedo. So yes, the number on the speedo has a bearing on the price of a car but definitely not it`s condition.

Serviced at the opc at the start of the year then 2k with a well known specialist on brakes all round etc. Possibly the finest driving 996 I`ve experienced this year.

The reason we put the mileages on the auto trader ads (and the ads on here as well usually) is because mostly it`s just an open bun fight to attract interest. With our website I don`t want people to simply play hunt the number because with older cars (and many of our cars are well over 5 years) that simply isn`t the way to go. I appreciate with something like the Cayman it`s so new that there will be little difference in condition terms between the cars and so there numbers play more of a part in determining which car to buy (though even then there is a strong argument to say that thousands of pounds less spent at the expense of some numbers on the speedo could save you depreciation in the future).

I love cars like this because I think they are great value for money and make me excited selling them. Anyone can offer good cars if they are hugely expensive but a good "price range" car takes a bit more hunting. Let`s see how long it lasts.

911Wise must have cheated! If not your picking my lotto numbers at the weekend!

Nice car Henry should be gone before the weekend I reckon.

Wish I'd bought it in at what you must have - a veritable bargain!
