Another excellent journey in Folembray only let down by a couple of victims of the infamous left-right down the straight

However it felt good being able to put faces on PH members such as Mrs CarZee, Flasher, Mungo and Castex.

Many thanks again to Andy for taking me out for some laps in his impressively efficient T350C.

Many thanks to Donald "McSideways" - your abilities in sliding your Chimaera are as impressive as ever ; Hope to see you again next June in Spa, hopefully with other PHers !

Special thanks to Sarah and Jonny at Bookatrack for letting a couple of friends and I get access to the pits.
Brilliant organisation too : how did you manage to book such an excellent weather ? I got sunburnt all over my face

Looking forward to the next one, hopefully next year ... ?

Just got back to Daniels towers and it appears to be raining in Blighty. What's all that about?

Absolutely superb trackday. Managed 191 track miles - some of them even with the car pointing in the direction of travel ;-)

Thanks to Bookatrack and Pistonheads for organising a great day, thanks to everyone for being well behaved on track and thanks to PicMan for some very impressive photos!

Yep, just got back too, and what a great trip it was! Perfect weather, great people, fun track and very considerate (and entertaining at times!) driving.

It was good to put faces to some of the well known PH names, and this certainly won't be the last PH event I attend.

Cruising back and seeing the various cars go past in convoy also really got me in the mood for Le Mans too!

Thanks to Ted and the Bookatrack team for organising it - it was a brilliant event which I really enjoyed. Where do I sign up for next year???

Agreed, had an excellent time! The track was superb and the weather and people made it an excellent event!

I've already put some vids online if anyone wants to re-live some moments here. You might need to download the divx encoder first though...

When's the next trip?!

Smiles by name... and Smiles all the way home too. What a superb time, I couldn't have hoped for better.

Well done all involved, especially Ted who I reckon is becoming a pretty fine public speaker!

I'm looking forward to anyevent or meet up where I can get to try to remember whose face goes with what name.

cheers all.

Brilliant weekend, just back and still grinning

Great company, superb track, top organisation by BaT, the superlatives go on and on.

Personal thanks to the A1 service crew in the form of Simon and Ed (the man who has everything - including a compression tester) for diagnosing the fact that the engine had lunched on the filter mesh and had a spot of indigestion!

Red faced apologies to Smiffy, who I was calling Miles all weekend.

Where do I sign up for the next one?

Cheers

Graham

Um sorry, I guess I should have got more information before commenting. He is OK, presumably?

Thanks to all who came this year. Our biggest track day to date and it was great to see that despite the number of cars we had no real problems with congestion.

Good to see everyone enjoying a good session in the bar too - plenty of bollox being talked and plenty of beers being supped. My head is only just recovering now...

I'm sincerely sorry guys. But in my defence it was mentioned as "a bit of a bump" so it is perhaps understandable that I took it to mean that it wasn't serious and made an off the cuff remark.

Edit: I noticed that a majority of the posts on this thread have since been edited, but the original versions of the early posts made it sound almost trivial, hence the frivolity of my comment.

There was a mishap. No-one was injured.

That is all for the time being, Jon. I'm sure you'll understand that there is dented pride and more, much of which is yet to be resolved.

Apologies if I appear to be an obfuscative killjoy, but that's just the way it is for now.
