Well once again my window encoder has given up the ghost and the independant garage that just serviced my car couldn't lay his hands on any, so I've decided to try and repair mine. However, what I'd really like to do is have a play around with others and see if I can repair them but what I need is broken ones so I can play with them.

Does anyone has a broken window encoder (the small PCB with 3 wires that screws onto the window motor) that they don't want? If you can post it to me (or I can send you an SAE) I'd be very grateful. If my endeavour comes off, maybe I'll set up a little repair line fixing them for all of you.

Does no-one have a duff encoder that they don't want any more?

Why don't you ring around the garages and see if they have any or ask them to save you any in the future.

I have a "spare" good one that I was holding onto for a potential need - I can send it to you if you like but I understand if it is only dud ones that you need....
