As there's a similarly entitled thread for the 360 - I thought I'd ask the question as far as the G is concerned as I'm pretty certain about pulling the trigger on one of two cars, but just a little concerned on the mileage front come trade in time! - is an 18K mile car a bit high to be getting into? (I'm sure the car's fine it's just the perception of it at say 30K+ miles in a year or two!) Any advise is very much appreciated!

If they is then I'm buggered! 33,000 and rising with a trip to Italy and back in the car planned for later this month. You actually see a few cars with over 20,000, I think the owners that have put more on, like me, are keeping them and driving them, I wouldn’t be surprised to see several Gallardo with ~50K on them in the next few years. For me, I take it as a good sign, it means you can drive the car every day, and it doesn't break down, not a negative.

I can't understand people who buy expensive cars and then let them sit in the garage so to minimise depreciation! These cars are intended to be used and storing them with limited use tends to create more problems than repeated use. Having done nearly 20,000 miles in two years in my Gallardo I can honestly say I've enjoyed every single minute of it. So in a nutshell just use them, look after them and enjoy them!

Thanks for the replies guys - I'm personally not that bothered about the mileage from a mechanical view point - I put just under 25,000 miles on a 360 in two years, but the problem was then getting spanked at resale time - however it seems that Ferraris are more mileage sensitive than Lambos in this respect, as far as I can see!

I just bought mine with 21.5 k miles and its a 04 04 i like you had reservations but the car i bought is mint and feels a lot newer than my aston witch i bought 3 months old,

i got it at what i thought was a good price and im happy with it but then again its my 3rd car and il only do 2 k a year in it

but to answer your question if the price is right buy it but remember when you come to sell if the buyer has a choice of 2 cars both identical in spec and price but one has 5 k and one has 22 k i know which one i would go for all things being equal !! and so would everyone else
