Hi
Driving my Tamora home from work yesterday over some fairly bumpy roads I noticed a ratlle/shudder through the pedals and through the steering, aswell as a noticable 'clunky' noise from under the car. I didnt think much of it but then it was the same this morning so I thought I better get it checked out.
Took the car into my local mechanic who came out for a run and then had a dig about under the bonnet and reckons its due to an engine mount/engine mounts giving up the ghost.
I know this is a fairly common complaint with these cars and I plan to get it booked in with HexhamHC ASAP as the car under a warranty.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a big job to fix it?
Are there any other common faults that could result in similar symptoms?
Cheers folks

the mount costs £50, i fitted it with the help of my friend and a ramp.(4 hour round trip to nearest dealer for me) were putting de-cats in at the time too so it made things easier having the cats out. took us 3 hours, under trays off and cats off easily enough but then moving the engine up enough to slide the mount in was not possible - unbolted the big metal bracket which connects the mount to the engine and advised to cut 3 threads off the studs to help it go in easier as there aint much space - its a
