I was just looking at that picture myself. Wheels up, chassis flex, butterflies wide open, wrinkled sidewalls and varying expressions on all the people watching!

err......... i wondered where it had gone...
bizarre event that was.I think it was the carbon pads and a slightly sticking caliper that caused the disc to crack, although i'm not 100% sure.Hi spec are making me some motorsport discs for the rear as we speak to ensure it doesn't happen again.Maybe someone up there likes me... That is the second one that has failed.First time it happened the car mysteriously wouldn't start.I got back to the pits and when i was loading up the car i noticed that the front disc was broken in half....

The tyre pressures were fine, the car launched, planted the tyres then hit the wheelie bar, bounced slightly then hooked back up, which is why the tyres look so mentally distorted.

As can be seen on this video Adam made earlier:

As you can also see and hear from the video, I pretty much launched the car off idle. Hopefully that's a good omen to show there is a lot left in that good ol Hemi.

Yea thats the JP1 Arias which came out of the dragster with a much smaller blower! We still use a lot of the parts from it, so it's (for want of a better expression) over engineered for the combination of blower and fuel system we run, but hey, it keeps the engine safe and lets us go the rounds with limited damages. For the next meeting or possibly the meeting after we are putting in a bigger engine with a bigger blower to get some more power and maybe crack a certain barrier which we won't speak of incase of jinx and the law of sod!

Glad everyone likes the photo, i'd like to maybe use that as the backing of a picture card. That is of course with the blessing of a certain Mr Pete Donaldson. Cracking photo Pete it just captures it brilliantly
