Delivered yesterday 2004 CBR600rr, Blue.
Rained all day so have not taken her out yet (no nancy jokes please - only just passed my test).
Couple of questions:
Whats all this about one light being on? it looks like a bulb is out, does anyone ride with full beam on?
Current mileage is 2800, last service was 7/2005 @ 700 mls, garage is saying it does not need a service until 4000, I though it was every 4k mls or 6 months which ever is sooner (or is this Honda being over Cautious)?

Looks good
Back to your original post DO NOT ride with your high beam on. You'll annoy the hell out of oncoming traffic and anyone you come up behind so they won't make your overtaking very easy. Instead, ALWAYS ride with the dip beam on. This will make you much more visible to everyone with dazzling them
Take things gently out there and build your speed and confidence up with experience and don't get sucked into racing anyone. It might only be a 600 but it is still a seriously quick bike.

Nice Colour. God i miss mine!
Service should be evry 4k or 6 months which ever sooner. However this is not normally the case. I would recommend an oil change every year. My old CBR600f used to do about 2-3k a year so put it in for oil change every year. True full service history would be every 6 months, however this rarely happens.
I think the dealer just told you that so they could get out of the servicing costs.
Enjoy the bike.
