Looking for some help here guys.

I'm trying to find my long lost buddy, "Steve Smith" who was closely involved in the Ultima Scene and worked for Ted Marlow at his premises quite some time ago, and then later became involved with Bob Light when he raced his Ultima, and later his Stealth.

Steve drives an McLaren M6 replica which I spent many hours helping him out during the build up, and I'm sure he still has it and is still involved in the motorsport or Ultima/Stealth Scene.

He moved away from the Portsmouth Area when he went to work for Ultima, and then went out on his own, assembling customer cars. I've lost contact with him over the years and really would like to get bac in touch with him.

Anyone know where he is or can help put me back in touch with him will be greatly appreciated.

Just drop me a line on here or e-mail me at jimgreen72@yahoo.com

I know Steve, send me some details through my profile and I will forward them on to him.

He sold the Mclaren recently and has helped me a lot with my build.

Thanks Andy,

Nice looking car you have there....I'm sure between the two of you, it'll be finished sooner than you expected...Ooops, forgot that that dosen't apply to home builds...LOL.

Also....I've seen your old Cosworth somewhere before as well, maybe at one of the meets, but I know i've either seen it, or seen pics of it before. I had mine for 15 years until just two months ago when I sold it to buy the M5. Really missing it now, but still don't regret the sale. Ended up winning a couple of concourse trophy's for it, and sold it with a new NMS Motorsports 428bhp Engine in it. Went to a good owner from the RSOC & Passion Ford web sites, so I still get to see it now and again. I actually sold the Cosworth on here in the classifieds, and also bought the M5 off here too, a nice 34,000 mile from new car. Not as quick as the cossie, but I dont have to worry about the engine letting go.

Again...thanks for your reply re Steve....will be good to catch up on old times and see what he has planned now he's sold the McLaren.

I had my cossie for 10years and it went through loads of iterations... It was featured in Rev's mag when I had a spectacular roll at 145mph on one of their track days (brake failure).

I still have parts from that car as in the end it was actually worth more in bits that a whole even though it was almost new after a bare shell respray..... the 330mm Tarrox 6pots and the 17inch wheels are actually on my R1 powered MK Indy lol.

Spookily I actually replaced the Cossie with an M3 about 3 years ago....

With all the above mod's that I did...I lost a load when I sold it, but at the end of the day, I had 15 years of great motoring/track days/and shows, so don't regret spending what I did on it, and hopefully it'll be around the RS Scene for a long time yet, as the new owner is abit of a perfectionist.

Quite a few ex RS Guys moving to M Power recently.
